Your complete satisfaction is our goal. If you need to return your GroBox for any reason, our customer experience team is here to help!
Standard Return Policy
Cloudponix, Inc. offers a money back guarantee for all orders placed on the Cloudponix, Inc. online store that are returned within 30 days of shipment.
• If it is has been more than 30 days since shipment and your GroBox is working properly but you don’t want it anymore, then we can’t accept a return of it.
• If it is has been more than 30 days since shipment and your GroBox is not working properly, then your return is governed by our Limited Warranty, discussed below.
• If you purchased your GroBox through one of our retail partners, then we can’t accept a return of it, regardless of how long you’ve had it.
Returned orders must include all original packaging, products, parts, documentation and accessories in undamaged, like new condition. Customer will pay the cost of return shipment to us. We will pay the cost of shipping the replacement parts or products to you.
To initiate a return, please contact us. We’ll ask for:
• Your order number;
• The product you are returning; and
• The reason for your return (we welcome feedback)!
We will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number as well as return instructions.
GroBox Reservation Cancellation and Return Policy
When you reserve a GroBox through our online store, we will charge you a reservation fee that will be applied to the final purchase price of your GroBox. As soon as you pay for your reservation, your reservation fee will be applied towards purchasing the materials we need to build your GroBox.
You can cancel your GroBox reservation for a full refund within seven days of paying the reservation fee. After seven days, the reservation fee is non-refundable.
When your GroBox is ready to ship to you, we will charge your remaining balance (the full price of the GroBox, less the reservation fee) to the same payment method you used to pay your reservation fee. Once you have paid the full price of your GroBox and the complete shipping address, we will ship your GroBox to you.
If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us before we ship your GroBox. If more than seven days have passed since you paid your reservation fee, then we cannot refund your reservation fee. If your GroBox has already shipped, then our standard return policy applies – please see above.
If you notice any issues with your GroBox please let us know as soon as possible so we can fix it as quickly as possible. Under our warranty policy (the “Warranty”), we will replace any part that fails within 1 year of delivery, excluding the pH and EC probes (which have a 6 month guarantee).
Pursuant to our Warranty, we promise that your GroBox will be free from manufacturing defects at the time of sale, including all components for 1 year (except for the pH and EC probes, which are guaranteed for 6 months). At our sole election, we will repair or replace failing components or make a pro rata refund of the initial purchase price for the defective portion of the GroBox.
Unfortunately we cannot honor this Warranty if you have modified your GroBox in any way. We spent countless hours designing and engineering every tiny part of the GroBox, so if you alter anything, it’s on you.
We also cannot honor this Warranty if you have not taken proper care of your GroBox. We want to remind you that if you don’t take proper care of your GroBox it will start doing things you won’t like, such as flood your home because roots clogged a pipe, so give your GroBox the attention it deserves or we can’t honor the Warranty.
Determinations regarding whether you have modified your GroBox or failed to maintain it properly and have thereby voided the Warranty will be made by us in our sole discretion.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS, AS WELL AS LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS THAT MAY APPLY TO YOU.
Cloudponix, Inc. (“Cloudponics,” “Cloudponix, Inc.,” “we,” “our” or “us”), with our primary place of business located at 100 BROADWAY, SAN FRANCISCO 94111, CA, warrants to the owner of the enclosed product that the product contained in this box (“Product”) will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of delivery following the original retail purchase (the “Warranty Period”). If the Product fails to conform to this Warranty during the Warranty Period, we will, at our sole discretion, either (a) repair or replace any defective Product or component; or (b) accept the return of the Product and refund the money actually paid by the original purchaser for the Product. Repair or replacement may be made with a new or refurbished product or components, at our sole discretion. If the Product or a component incorporated within it is no longer available, we may, at our sole discretion, replace the Product with a similar product of similar function. This is your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this Warranty. Any Product that has either been repaired or replaced under this Warranty will be covered by the terms of this Warranty for the longer of (a) ninety (90) days from the date of delivery of the repaired Product or replacement Product, or (b) the remaining Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty is transferable from the original purchaser to subsequent owners, but the Warranty Period will not be extended in duration or expanded in coverage for any such transfer.
1. WARRANTY CONDITIONS; HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
Before making a claim under this Warranty, the owner of the Product must (a) contact Cloudponix at firstname.lastname@example.org during the Warranty Period with a description of the alleged defect, and (b) comply with Cloudponix’ return shipping instructions. Cloudponix will have no warranty obligations with respect to a returned Product if it determines, in its reasonable discretion after examination of the returned Product, that the Product is an Ineligible Product (defined below). Cloudponix will bear all costs of return shipping to owner and will reimburse any shipping costs incurred by the owner, except with respect to any Ineligible Product, for which owner will bear all shipping costs.
2. WHAT THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This Limited Warranty does not cover the following Products that have been subject to: (a) modifications, alterations, tampering, or improper maintenance or repairs; (b) handling, storage, installation, testing, or use not in accordance with Cloudponix, Inc.’ documentation; (c) abuse or misuse of the Product; (d) breakdowns, fluctuations, or interruptions in electric power or the telecommunications network; or (e) Acts of God, including but not limited to lightning, flood, tornado, earthquake, or hurricane. Products that meet any of the conditions described in (a) – (e) above are referred to herein as “Ineligible Products.” This Limited Warranty does not cover consumable parts, including batteries, unless damage is due to defects in materials or workmanship of the Product, or software (even if packaged or sold with the product). Unauthorized use of the Product can impair the Product’s performance and may invalidate this Limited Warranty.
3. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
EXCEPT AS STATED ABOVE IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, AND TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLOUDPONIX DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS WITH RESPECT TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CLOUDPONIX ALSO LIMITS THE DURATION OF ANY APPLICABLE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR CONDITIONS TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. USE OF THE PRODUCT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. THE PRODUCT IS NOT INTENDED OR DESIGNED TO MONITOR ANY INDIVIDUAL’S SAFETY OR HEALTH AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROPER CARE AND SUPERVISION OF CHILDREN, THE ELDERLY, OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL.
4. LIMITATION OF DAMAGES
IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS, IN NO EVENT WILL CLOUDPONIX BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGES FOR LOST DATA OR LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE PRODUCT, AND CLOUDPONIX’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR THE PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT BY THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER.
5. APPLICABLE LAW; CLASS ACTION WAIVER
This Warranty shall be deemed to have been made in, and shall be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of California, and its validity, construction, interpretation and legal effect shall be governed by the laws of the State of California applicable to contracts entered into and performed entirely therein. You and Cloudponix, Inc. agree that the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute that may arise under this Agreement. You and Cloudponix, Inc. consent to venue, service of process and personal jurisdiction in the state and federal courts located in San Francisco County, California for purpose of adjudicating disputes arising under this Agreement. You and Cloudponix, Inc. waive any defense of inconvenient forum to the maintenance of any action or proceeding so brought and waives any bond, surety, or other security that might be required of any other party with respect thereto.
YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY CLASS ACTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WARRANTY.
ALL CLAIMS AND DISPUTES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE WARRANTY MUST BE ADJUDICATED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT ON A CLASS BASIS, AND CLAIMS OF MORE THAN ONE CUSTOMER OR USER CANNOT BE ADJUDICATED JOINTLY OR CONSOLIDATED WITH THOSE OF ANY OTHER CUSTOMER OR USER.
5. YOUR RIGHTS AND THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other legal rights that vary by state, province, or jurisdiction. Likewise, some of the limitations in this Limited Warranty may not apply in certain states. The terms of this Limited Warranty will apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
